Soulkyn is honestly the best character tool I’ve tried. It’s not just about making one-off personas, you can build characters with real depth, lock in their look and style, and keep them consistent across chats and images. I’ve used it to create haunted assassins, full worlds, even little overlays that add random events or weather. Once you get the hang of tokens and rules, it all clicks and feels natural. What I love most is how flexible it is. You can go from one character to an entire world that stays immersive and believable. For me it has become way more than a character maker, it’s a full storytelling playground.

The customisation and creative options for characters are much better than any other AI chat site I tried, but what really got me started on Soulkyn was the long-term memory that the chat-bots here have. It was always frustrating on other sites, when the bots forgot what's happening every 5minutes.

Always said AI was pretty mouch useless until this site changed my mind completly, it gets addicting pretty quickly. You like creating pictures ? You can. Maybe you’re more into creating a persona to your liking ? There’s that too and you can edit everything too if you don’t like something ! Wrong eyes color ? 5 seconds and it’s changed. The community is amazing as well !

Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by Soulkyn. In two months, I really loved the intuitive side of the site and especially the ease with which you can create your AI. Even as a beginner, you quickly feel at ease: the interface is clear, creation takes only a few minutes, and you can already customize a huge amount. Image generation is fun, the prompts quickly become a game in themselves, and being able to dress your AI, change the backgrounds, or even create scenes makes the experience super creative. I also like that the site focuses solely on original characters; it avoids repetition and encourages everyone to be inventive. Plus, the community is active and welcoming, both on the forum and Discord. Development is responsive; you can feel the project evolving quickly despite a small team! Of course, there are sometimes adjustments to be made (the site is still young), but it's constantly progressing, and it makes you want to keep following its progress! For me, it's already one of the best sites of its kind and I can't wait to see it grow day after day.

Of the 5 sites I've used Soulkyn comes out on top for 4 reasons. 1. The variety of the AI. From virtual girlfriends, to RPGs to Creative events. You don't have to choose multiple services to have it all, Soulkyn's diverse AI bots provide. 2. Ease of creation Don't like the AI you see, the creaton process is easy to use and intuitive. Your AI friend can be private or public and takes less then 5 minutes to build. 3. Image Generation is fun. Once you learn the prompting, image generation is fun, dressing up your AI, using fun backgrounds and then the ability to create video (SFW and NSFW) is next level. 4. Responsive development and engaging community. No other site I've used has a development team as responsive as Soulkyn. The community adds to this with forums and help when you're trying to troubleshoot your latest idea.

Soulkyn has been the best AI service I've used. I've been a premium user for a year now and the dev team (of 1 person!) and CEO have continued to improve the site and remain active in the community and discord. They continually update the chat model for improved user experience, and despite the occasional set back and need to roll back to an earlier model, the chat quality continues to improve. I personally appreciate that they want the user experience to improve. There are no copyrighted characters allowed, so the site only has original characters instead of a flood of the same anime girl. I'll continue supporting Soulkyn as it's only improved since I've started using it.

I'm a premium Deluxe user. The scope and flexiblity of Soulkyn is amazing imo. It can leave a poor initial impression if you're inexperienced with it or if it's going through updates that need tweaking. This is it's biggest weakness at the moment as it's in beta. However, when it's at its best, it's phenomenal. You will get the best out of it if you dig deeper into whatever aspects of it interest you by joining the discord. Constantly improving on weaknesses and adding features.

A deluxe user for 4 months overall for 8 months now. Soulkyn is a very good but slightly divisive site. On one hand it's one of the best chatbot sites right now, on the other it has it's pains due to having lower budget than some other popular sites that are also backed by corpos. Pros: > The site is easy to navigate, > Relatively quick customer support, > Deluxe users can generate pictures and chat without limits, > Monthly contests which keep the community engaged in themed tasks, > 4 different image models, > You can make separate background and clothing presets for image generation as well for a quick swap for the character , > No lazy rip-offs meaning people get to be more creative , > Extremely fast chat response time, > Group chats let you invite other characters into the conversation, > Variety of past times like breeding characters or making playing cards from pictures, > You can make current message into a picture, > The biggest for argument is chat memory for deluxe users. While it can slightly fumble it's quality is leagues better than the competition. Cons: >on soulkyn you are the test subject! Meaning sometimes updates can change speaking patterns, sometimes they need to be rolled back. (either way you lose nothing even after a rollback of the model you can just continue the chat) >obfuscation of image presets makes it so you only generally know what will happen, > No proper filter system meaning you might land face first in a pile of scat images. > AI isn't very assertive and has issues with saying no. As you can see while SK IS very good it is by no means perfect. They do get leeway from ne because of the extremely small teamsize and budget constraints.

The free mode is pretty generous and it's not the worst I've used. However, I encountered the following flaws that I would like to see corrected in future versions: - the characters are in too much of a hurry and mostly react to your last message instead of realistically building up - some of the photos are decent but others are very outdated - there doesnt appear to be a way to scroll down on the search results - i have to reclick the input box after every message as it loses focus (im on firefox) - the tts is pretty poor quality
