Hi Gabe, thanks for trying out our solution. The encoding issue is something that happens on occasion and are shipping a fix soon.
For now, files are uploaded to an encrypted S3 bucket managed by IllumiDesk (hosted by AWS). We are working on integrations so that we can connect the Context Manager and Course Builder to your own RAG (Pinecone, ChromaDB, AWS Bedrock, Postgres, etc) as well as your own document data stores.
