Hedy is a real-time AI conversation coach. It listens during your meetings, sales calls, interviews, and medical appointments, then gives you suggestions and answers while the conversation is still happening, not after it's over. Most tools record and summarize. Hedy helps you in the moment. Now you can run Hedy's entire AI on your own hardware. Turn on Local AI and your summaries, notes, live suggestions, and chat all happen on your device. Nothing goes to a server for processing. Where Local AI runs: Mac (Apple Silicon): GPU acceleration and every model size Windows: capable GPUs, with CPU fallback for the rest iPhone 15 Pro and newer, plus M-series iPads: the compact models Local AI is opt-in and off by default. Speech recognition has run on-device since day one, and audio recordings stay on your machine. This extends that privacy to the rest of the pipeline for anyone who wants it. Cloud AI stays available too, and it's still faster and handles longer, more complex conversations better. -

This started from a small frustration that wouldn't go away: I'd open 12 tabs for "research," skim none of them properly, and close my laptop feeling more behind than when I started. The web rewards reading speed, not reading depth โ and I wanted a tool that flipped that. So I built GetTheGists: a Chrome extension that gives you the gist of any page in 3 seconds, then lets you ask follow-up questions like you would a smart friend who already read it. A few things we went out of our way to get right: - Cognitive hierarchy, not walls of text. Every summary is structured as Gist โ Why It Matters โ Key Takeaways โ Implications. Compression before precision. - Ask, don't just read. Hit the page with follow-ups, get answers grounded in the content. - 20 languages, full dark mode, and a resizable side panel that actually respects your screen. What surprised me building this: the hardest part wasn't the AI โ it was deciding what not to show. Every iteration was about removing a section, not adding one. It's free to try (Premium and Pro tiers if you want higher limits). I'd love your honest feedback โ especially on the summary format and where it falls short on your favorite kind of page. I'll be in the comments all day. Thank you for taking a look ๐

Tried this with a couple clips and the speed was honestly impressive. Feels super useful for creators and research workflows.

AudioScribe has been really helpful for turning meeting recordings into clean transcripts without much hassle. I especially like the AI summaries and speaker identification, since they make it much easier to review long conversations and pull out the key points. Solid tool overall, and definitely worth a 5-star rating.

Lynx by Apex7 AI offers an interesting approach to workflow automation and AI-powered business operations. The interface feels clean, and itโs great to see a tool focused on helping teams streamline repetitive tasks more efficiently. Looking forward to seeing how the platform evolves and the new capabilities it brings over time.

Really like how it finds connection in the content that I save. I don't think any other tool can do that.

Love Dadan's new AI features. I used to hate searching through videos to find specific points and actions. Now I just get AI Assist to transcribe them and use one of the meeting templates to find what I need in a few seconds.

Process YouTube playlists faster โ extract signal without watching every minuteOpenTubeYakker matches how I already use YouTube. Saving things for later and processing them bit by bit. The UI is pretty minimal, which I like, though it took me a minute to understand the intended workflow. Keep it up ;-)
-
I'm still testing the tool yet it looks very promising. I tested it with a 5.5k words Academic text that I had previously red. I tested the Key points feature, it does work!

OpenI played around with PodScribe.IO for just 5 minutes, and it helped me save at least 35 minutes when transcribing my first podcast (for free - have not subscribed to the paid version yet). That's pretty sweet! The way it presents and separates podcast data into different formats is really well done. It makes it super easy to find what you're looking for.

๐ Hey everyone โ Iโm Yusef, founder of Jamy. We built Jamy because we were tired of wasting time after meetings โ rewriting notes, chasing action items, and trying to remember what was actually said. Jamy handles all of that automatically: it joins your calls, transcribes, summarizes, pulls tasks and quotes, and even sends branded follow-ups. It works with Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, and phone calls โ and connects with tools like Slack, Trello, and Notion. If youโre curious, give it a spin โ jamy.ai. Would love your feedback! โ Yusef

Iโve been using Collate to go through technical PDFs, and itโs been surprisingly handy. Hey this is Tan, I'm the creator of NotesBot. I created this tool because I needed it for my own meetings. After using myself and getting great summarization reviews from my peers, I decided to release it to the public. After release, we realized people were also using it for Dungeons and Dragons, I then added a DnD mode. This tool is non-invasive, very easy to set up, and perfect for meetings. I hope you enjoy using it!
-
OpenThere is nothing like that out there, especially with a high voice-based translation quality (including with specific terminology). As the Product Manager, I am a bit biased, but I still think it is great for live interpretation :)

Unlimited transcripts, summaries, 99.8% accuracy, speaker recognition, superfastOpenI already have another transcription tool, but this one is much better. I love the different features such as the summary, quiz, and chapters. It does a great job of them. I've only done one transcript so far to try it out, but I'm truly impressed and am going to grab another code. A couple things that would make it even better are: - the ability to rename the files and organize them through folders. - the ability to download a copy of the other features as well as the transcript. Copying and pasting it works, but doesn't keep the format. -

This was a HUGE let down. I wanted this to work more than anybody! I've been searching for exactly this for months and so far it's been fruitless.. When I stumbled across this and it did everything that I needed it to do, it would give you the key points it would make it more comprehensive it would give you as much detail as you wanted and it had a free seven day trial and it was unlimited with no credit system (as long as you purchased the plan). It was like I had created it because it is exactly what I was looking for, after I signed up I started to do my happy dance and then I uploaded a file so I could get the show on the road..... and nothing.... it kept trying to upload and it absolutely would not give me any summary or anything just kept loading and loading and loading.... I could view the file and the file would show up after a while but there would still be no summaries so in essence the program is broken which broke my freaking heart. if this starts working again somebody please reply to this comment and let me know I really have faith in this program and I really wanna use it. I don't want to do this but I have to give it 2 stars for the time being....
-
They started charging for documents , Please change from no pricing to freemium
-
I couldn't use it because it wouldn't let me upload a PDF file, so I can't really review it properly. This tool would work best with audio files. For example, if your teacher gave you an assignment in a PDF file, you wouldn't be able to use it. Until it enables that feature, it's not very useful for students. However, it is useful if you're incorporating audio.

I'm currently testing on iOS and I so very strongly wish I had a web version or Android version as well so that I can use it across all my platforms. Hands down my fav app for news on any device currently.
-
Really simple approach - you select the part of the page you want the summary to be inserted, add a question to the article or it just sticks to the prompt you defined (even the standard prompt is a fun inspiration - never thought about letting the AI read an article from the angle of my professional background or let it build fun analogies for even the darkest articles). I use it to send articles from website directly to my Kindle - so you can basically read AI summarized articles on Kindle. Of course it could be extended but with the basic features it does the job.
