Unfortunately, the execution falls short. The free plan only allows 6 messages before cutting you off, and male character options are too limited to appeal broadly. Forced email sign-up makes the process less inviting, and the lack of a calling function keeps it from feeling immersive. On top of that, the memory struggled to retain even the details I provided in the intro message, breaking the flow of conversation. If Tickle Talk wants to improve, it should expand its character selection, improve memory retention, and remove the harsh message caps that prevent users from properly experiencing the platform. Compared with Character AI, which provides depth, freedom, and stronger continuity, Tickle Talk just doesn’t measure up.
