Working great as of 30/11/2024. Let me tell you why I'm so happy about this, because I was desperate: - Firecrawl.dev? Inconsistent API documentation. Apify scrapers? Couldn't work on my target URL. - I spent $150 over 4-5 OTHER tools before finding this one, which is free to use locally right now. Wow. I'm dumb. - My target URL was a broken site, with 500 javascript errors, content violations, bad cookies, etc. - Not a single scraper worked that I tried, except for this one. Still surprised these guys haven't made a full release yet, its already has a lot of features than I thought it would - I personally use their hostedgpt for organizing my threads the interface is much better than chatgpt but they didnt add a settings features to it yet - for chatbot building its fully flesh-out couldnt have choosen a better service!

This is one of the best scrapers I have ever seen, especially considering that Cloudflare explicitly advises against scraping their pages. What makes this scraper stand out is that it opens a virtual machine and runs an agent on top of it, which allows it to bypass bot detection errors effectively. This advanced approach enables it to grab the text content reliably, even from websites with strong anti-scraping measures. Since there is no feedback possibility on the site, I will leave my comments here. 1. when I put a search term between "" I expect the results to precisely contain this phase, not ...or... 2. the e-mails are called "news summary" so the items should be empty when there is nothing new. Instead, I keep receiving the same search results over and over again. Searching by Google is less time-consuming. 3. there is a 1-day trial period (!) but by the time I discovered the above (day 2) I was hooked for a month. So, de facto, there is no trial period.

So many SaaS offerings need rethought to be AI/agent first. And the new thinking really start with the simplicity and appropriate costs needed for the "user" being an agent. tny.dev is really a master class in this new thought process. If you need link shortening, it's completely solved here. I've been using it with Claude Desktop, and Claude just "gets" this MCP server, and its free at the relatively infrequent rate I use it. The analytics are awesome and simple to understand. They are the key feature for me.
