it’s a cool tool if you wanna chat with made up characters or build your own. works fine and feels fun. the ui could def be better organized. alsooo letting people upload any pic for their characters makes things kinda messy, some look 🔥, some are like 144p pics. would be sick if they added a 'generate image' button that uses your character's description or lets you write one for it.

This is totally false. Here are the all the Athena features that ChatGPT does not have (May 27, 2025): 1. Custom Diagram Generation: just try our example prompt in ChatGPT and see it for yourself. 2. Travel recommendation with Map and booking. 3. Collaborative Whiteboard integration: ChatGPT does have a Canvas but you cannot collaborate and it has less features. 4. Complex LaTeX generation: ChatGPT does not support complex LaTeX generation such as geometry figures and Lewis Structure. 5. Note taking apps integration: we integrate with Note apps on Google Meet.

ChatGPT's pro version offers significantly more, including advanced models and plugin access, while your free tier is barely a taste.
