LectMate is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) lecture intelligence tool designed for students studying abroad. It offers real-time transcription and translation of classroom lectures, helping students to capture classes and turn them into bilingual notes.

Its core functionality enables users to follow lectures in a language they're not fluent in, reducing the struggle of understanding accents, technical vocabulary, and noting down the lecture content simultaneously.

LectMate works in real-time, transcribing and translating lectures as they happen, which keeps the students connected with the live class. It then turns these transcriptions into structured, searchable bilingual notes that students can review later.

It also includes keyword summaries, which allow students to identify the main ideas from lengthy lectures without needing to go through the entire transcript.

The software allows for importing of recorded audio and exporting of transcriptions results, keeping the users in control of their study material from capture to deletion.

It is designed with the workflow of a student in mind; its goal is to serve as a comprehensive study system by providing resources for review. LectMate is optimized for simplicity, intended not to disrupt or hinder the class experience.

The aim is to allow students to focus on understanding and comprehending the subject matter rather than divide their attention between understanding, note-taking and translation.
