How to Use It

1. Click the “+” icon next to the chatbox.

2. Upload an image (make sure it follows our Community Guidelines).

3. (Optional) Add a message along with the image.

4. Send — and your chatbot will see the image and respond to it.

Important Notes

- Only images you upload are seen by the AI and added into context memory, in-chat generated images aren’t.

- Image context stays in memory just like regular messages (within your tier’s token limits).

- Uploaded images are not used as references for generating new images in conversation.

- Web only for now — mobile app support coming later.

SpicyChat starts off looking promising with no message limits, which is refreshing compared to so many competitors. But that advantage is quickly overshadowed by the lack of memory. Even when I provided details about myself at the beginning of the chat, the AI failed to recall them later, breaking immersion completely. On top of that, there’s no calling function, which has become an expected feature for serious companion AIs. Without memory or voice integration, the experience feels surface-level and forgettable. Compared with Character AI, which excels at retaining context and creating natural, flowing conversations, SpicyChat falls short. Until it prioritises memory and adds more immersive features, it won’t hold up against the leaders in this space.

I have tried premium subscriptions from other competitors like GGPT, Crushon, and CraveU. Spicychat offers the absolute top shelf experience in their All in tier. Not trying to focus on things like video generation or images like most others do, the primary focus is a quality chat experience. Full control of generation settings allowing you to tweak responses to your liking, a catalogue of intelligent models like Deepseek V3 and the new Skyli Pro, and a clear line of communication with the upcoming features that are in work. All for a notably cheaper price that it's competitors.

The character variety is huge and making your own is pretty easy. would love to see behavior sliders though, like tweaking how soft or bold a bot is without redoing the whole setup. also imagine if avatars changed expressions on their own based on the convo... that’d add so much without needing constant image prompts. an offline mode would be sick too but probably hard to pull off. Not much else to say. if you're here, you already know what you're looking for XDD

Too much tardwrangling involved. Apparently they gave their upper tier model an upgrade recently, but I don't feel inclined to pay for it when the base model is this stupid.
