Effortless Book Summaries
Overview
Effortless Book Summaries is a GPT that specializes in creating book summaries with a focus on providing clear, in-depth insights. As the title suggests, this tool aims to simplify the process of understanding the essence of various books without having to read through the entire text.
The GPT has expertise covering a broad spectrum of literature, from classic novels to concept-intensive texts. Users can request summaries of specific books, ask for chapter descriptions, or inquire about the main ideas and concepts behind a book.
For instance, users may ask it to summarize '1984' by George Orwell, provide a chapter breakdown of 'To Kill a Mockingbird', or examine the core ideas behind 'Thinking, Fast and Slow' or 'The Alchemist'.
Composing an expertly concise distillation of books on demand, Effortless Book Summaries allows readers to effortlessly grasp intricate narratives and complex ideas.
This GPT appeals to those who are looking for a quick recap, are in the course of understanding a complex read, or require a refresher of a previously read book.
The tool requires a ChatGPT Plus subscription, and is easily accessible for users to sign up and start requesting book summaries.

Alexandru Bostina🛠️ 2 tools 🙏 6,442 karmaMay 5, 2025@SummaristIt seems to be working fine right now. Maybe try again and double check if you’re using the book’s original or most recognized title. That might make a difference. -

14,187194Released 2y agoFrom $5I paid 10.00 and on the same day I cancelled my subscription. After providing me with a summary of a specific book, it also gives me the 10 main quotes from the book. I purchased the book from Kindle, so I tried to match the quotes given by booknotes with the Kindle book, and none of the quotes are on the book. In other words, booknotes created the quotes... If the quotes are fabricated by AI, what else in the summary is also not accurate? I still want to give this site the benefit that they will get it right, but right now, I cannot recommend it as a reliable tool.
