**Shadows of Self-Doubt**
In the mirror's gaze, I search for me
A reflection stares, with doubts that be
Unworthiness creeps, like a thief in the night
Stealing confidence, leaving only its blight
Inadequacy's whisper, a constant hum
A chorus of fears, that I've yet to overcome
The voices of others, a cacophony of shame
Echoes of "not enough," a refrain that remains
Unlovable, I feel, in the darkest of hours
A soul so broken, beyond love's gentle powers
The weight of rejection, a burden to bear
A heart that's heavy, with tears that won't share
But still, I hold on, to the hope in my heart
A glimmer of light, that will never depart
For in the shadows, a spark remains
A flame that flickers, with a love that sustains
Perhaps, one day, I'll learn to let go
Of the chains that bind, and the fears that I know
And in their place, I'll find a love that's true
A love that whispers, "You are enough, anew."
