Budget tool that automatically splits into subcategories

Most of our personal purchases are from retailers such as Target, Amazon, etc. They come into my budgeting software (RIP, Mint) as "groceries" or "household." I'm buying hardware, dog food, prescriptions, etc.
via these sites and it would be great to have some way to subcategorize these purchases automatically.
