IGRIS-A
About
IGRIS-A is an AI humanoid robot developed by ROBROS for unstructured service environments such as cafés. It serves as a humanoid platform for reinforcement learning-based locomotion and imitation learning-based object manipulation, with plans to build a service-optimized foundation model using collected operational data.
Specs
IGRIS-A features 29 DoF in the body and a tendon-driven anthropomorphic hand with 6 active DoF and 5 passive joints (11 total joints). It uses a 30:1 gear ratio for high torque transmission and reduced reflected inertia, supports torque-based compliance control without joint torque sensors, and integrates NVIDIA Jetson Orin for onboard real-time AI inference. The robot is powered by a 48V 22Ah dual battery system and provides up to 10N fingertip force with a 0.5-second full grasp motion.
