KaiBot
About
KaiBot is a full-size humanoid robot developed by Kinetix AI for household services, light industrial tasks, and research applications. It features advanced dexterous manipulation, full-body tactile sensing, and AI-driven world-model prediction for safe human collaboration. The robot is designed to perform fine grasping, compliant interactions, and adaptive task execution in real-world environments.
Specs
KaiBot features 115 total degrees of freedom, including highly dexterous hands with 36 DOF per hand (22 active and 14 compliant joints). The robot includes a full-body tactile skin system with 18,000 sensing points capable of detecting forces as low as 0.1N. Powered by a 1.7 kWh semi-solid-state battery, it supports 3–4 hours of dual-arm operation, can carry up to 20 kg, and reaches speeds of 5 km/h. KaiBot operates using the KAI World Model architecture with reinforcement learning, simulation-first training, NPU/GPU compute hardware, and integrated LLM intelligence.
