MATRIX-3 is Matrix Robotics’ third-generation flagship humanoid robot, designed as a safe, autonomous, and highly generalizable physical intelligence platform. It integrates biomimetic skin, advanced tactile sensing, dexterous manipulation, and zero-shot AI generalization to perform complex human-like tasks across industrial and real-world environments.

MATRIX-3 features a 27-DoF dexterous hand using cable-driven architecture, high-dimensional tactile sensing capable of detecting pressure as low as 0.1N, and 3D woven biomimetic skin with embedded distributed sensing. It integrates multimodal perception fusion (visual-tactile feedback loop), a large-scale spatial perception foundation model, and proprietary neural network architecture enabling zero-shot generalization. The robot utilizes integrated linear actuators for high power density and low-noise operation, supports natural humanoid gait trained on motion-capture datasets, and performs universal intelligent manipulation with real-time force and posture adjustment.
