PL-WitHand Dexterous Hand
About
An industrial-grade hybrid-driven dexterous robotic hand using a tendon-linkage transmission and multimodal tactile–visual perception, designed to achieve near-human dexterity with high-precision grasping across industrial, medical, and extreme-environment applications.
Specs
PL-WitHand is a biomimetic dexterous robotic hand featuring a tendon-linkage hybrid transmission that balances compliant manipulation with high-precision control. The hand integrates dense tactile sensing across fingers and palm, including sensors with up to 52 contact points per sensor and additional palm tactile arrays. It supports multimodal perception by fusing visual and tactile data through the self-developed ProxiGrasp intelligent grasping algorithm, enabling real-time estimation of object shape, contact force, and pose. The system supports self-learning and self-calibration, modular configuration, and deep integration with ROS 2, making it suitable for human-robot collaboration, industrial automation, precision medicine, and high-fidelity VR interaction.
