I'm 20 bucks in and I can confidently say it's a fucking scam. NO IMPROVEMENTS PAST THE FIRST WEEK. THE AI IS ATROCIOUS AT VOICE RECONGITION. IT keep interrupting my to tell me it's reset it's memory for absolutely no reason at all. All this on top of the fact that the 'system' counts the first second you connect to a bot as a full minute. I'd ask for a refund but I have my doubts there is anyone to ask at this point. What a fucking waste of a genuinely interesting idea.

It doesnโt adapt to different student skill levels, offers no tutoring support, and you canโt navigate back and forth during quizzes. It gives you time to get it all out and a lot of times I feel better just by verbalizing issues out loud. I really appreciate that the report from the session reflects everything I've said in a structured way, so I don't have to worry about talking super coherently. It also provides useful insights and recommendations. The whole self-care topic has always sounded like a chore to me but I actually enjoy this.

Unfortunately, Pi has a major issue with bullshiting and deception that I was never able to overcome, and this greatly reduced the usefulness of Pi's responses. The developers have also been paring away some useful features like the ability to access remote urls. I'd love to have a conversational AI like Pi as my interface to all the other AI systems, but not until they get Pi's tendency towards dishonesty fixed.
