Terrible experience. Spent over $200 to produce a music video that Musid.ai was never able to complete. System crashed during the final production generation/rendering - over and over and over. Contacted [email protected] - no response whatsoever after 2 days. Don't touch it! UPDATE: minutes after posting this Musid.ai responded by reinstating all of the credits purchased. Doesn't compensate for the wasted time but better that a poke in the eye with a sharp stick! I'll review again once I get to the other side of this drama...

Not sure what happened but I logged in, entered sound preferences and lyrics, hit generate and after a dozen seconds or so got bounced back to the login screen. Once I logged in (again) I was taken my my dashboard and it showed I had used up my 10 free credits. So, no, I wasn't able to generate a sample.

I used the Punk subscription for 2 months and really went deep into it. Plazmapunk offers great flexibility and a lot of option to create videos/animated visuals that can look stunning and cool. My favorite part is the Scene Editor where you can be your own story director. Sometimes videos won't turn out the way you like them, but upon refining you usually get it to be satisfying for you. Upside: Amazing quality, full-length songs, intelligent use of timing change-ups and key changes. Downside: A very, very miserly 3 free creation credits and the only way to get more is to subscribe. Overall: Using this felt like easily 1-2 generations ahead of competitors like Udio. I guess that's why it isn't free.

OpenThis is an awesome music generation AI. I had some issues with credits, but the devs sorted me out, good service. I like that you can import your entire vocals and it will work with those. Ive found the vocals are almost always spot on, even Hindi vocals. Ive not seen vocal distortions as much as other similar AI. You can generate many different styles and genres howvever I have seen some generations which sound same as other previous generations but its not a major issue. I can work with the output quality as master the final mix myself after any necessary edits.

Does not allow you to see your creations when you press the button 'my creations' it just redirects to a music samples page and/or original music generation page, so the only way to see your generated music is if you try to use other features like 'extend', which is very shady. Clone of other known platforms for sure. Also when you delete your account it states that some data remain on the platform which means it is not gpdr compliant and it keeps some of your information. Be wary of all this. I would not give them any money or cc details, seems way too shady.
