As a junior, my biggest fear is grinding out a paper word-for-word only to have the school's system falsely flag it as AI. ZeroGPT Plus has been a massive help! I run everything through here before submitting. It's super accurate, and if it flags high-risk paragraphs, I know exactly where to edit. I feel so much safer submitting my work now. It is free and provides decent summery and advice I wish it could do an entire pass of a text it can only examine a limited selection so if you have a large text you want to run through you have to do a lot of Copy & Paste then confirm every time your a human. Still it is a free tool and works well for what its designed to do.

Either I write like AI, or this tool is really bad at telling the difference. I question these detectors, especially when you give them something you know you wrote and they claim it is 80% AI-generated. I tested it by pasting in something I wrote entirely on my own, without using AI. I didn’t even proofread it, just ran a basic spell check, and that was it. The tool still claimed that 80% of it was written by AI. Then it rewrites the supposedly “AI-generated” text using AI, which essentially makes it AI-written. 😆 That’s kind of a weird concept.
