For now, i managed to create quite a nice Expenses app for personal use. | It did have some problems when it came to moving some components on other pages, but for how short the prompts it uses can be, it is really impressive. With some proper prompts it can generate some strong stuff. -

Makes it easy to get started with a presentation if you have an outline, but as soon as you want more control, you're better off using Google Slides. Gamma's feature that I used the most was image generation - you can select among a variety of models (Ideogram, Flux, DALL-E, but not Midjourney), and it shows 3 variations to choose from. Performance is slow and a little janky, even in Chrome. Prompts and settings are often not respected - e.g. you set it to "preserve text" and just generate slides, and it goes onto dumping an entire 3 paragraphs of text in one slide. You can't overlay text over images (e.g. for image attribution), and there's no precise positioning control, or grouping elements. No way to control table layout, e.g. to have two images slide-by-side in full bleed mode. I tried Gamma for a new presentation, but next time I need to make a presentation, I'll go back to Google Slides and generate images independently.

It definitely looks cool but, your model selection and what is generated in your Discovery package need to be on point. They arenโt. I selected a Latin female with amber eyes and blonde hair and I got ginger hair. I tried Latin blonde with green eyes and got an Arabic with brown hair and a green shirt. Itโs a great idea but, only having 5 credits and not getting what you are looking for is a waste of time or a potential client. Why ask someone to pay for something they arenโt getting? However the images are HD images and look great even if itโs not what I was looking for.

I've tried to give this thing a chance and the people running it the benefit of the doubt but at this point I give up. I'm 20 bucks in and I can confidently say it's a fucking scam. NO IMPROVEMENTS PAST THE FIRST WEEK. THE AI IS ATROCIOUS AT VOICE RECONGITION. IT keep interrupting my to tell me it's reset it's memory for absolutely no reason at all. All this on top of the fact that the 'system' counts the first second you connect to a bot as a full minute. I'd ask for a refund but I have my doubts there is anyone to ask at this point. What a fucking waste of a genuinely interesting idea.
