Tried it on a chapter and some notes and it gave me a tight summary fast. It’s good but it glosses nuance and doesn’t always show where a point came from. You gave a limit though. Solid helper when you want the gist, not the deep dive.

Blobu has made reading so much fun! I can find any book summary I want—or even create my own. The mashup feature is awesome for mixing ideas and making your own mini reads from your favorite books. I love competing with friends and family on the leaderboard and talking about the summaries we’ve read. Way better than endlessly scrolling on my phone!

I’m always trying to better myself, and Blobu makes it so easy. It’s quick, convenient, and has every book I could want and if I can’t find one, I can just generate it. It seems to be working fine right now. Maybe try again and double check if you’re using the book’s original or most recognized title. That might make a difference.

I paid 10.00 and on the same day I cancelled my subscription. After providing me with a summary of a specific book, it also gives me the 10 main quotes from the book. I purchased the book from Kindle, so I tried to match the quotes given by booknotes with the Kindle book, and none of the quotes are on the book. In other words, booknotes created the quotes... If the quotes are fabricated by AI, what else in the summary is also not accurate? I still want to give this site the benefit that they will get it right, but right now, I cannot recommend it as a reliable tool.

Not much more than a wrapper for ChatGPT prompts. Section "Key Ideas" shows the original answer of ChatGPT, including it's introduction. Does not perform well, but shows only a shortened list of the key ideas. I have gotten better results when asking ChatGPT Pro directly.
