Overly simplistic and the recommendations were not particularly on target. I was familiar with all of the recommendations and had read (or started) 7 out of 9 of them, but only really enjoyed 3 or 4. Curiously, the recommendations weren't even the same genre. Since so little input is requested from the reader it seems unlikely to be successfully in uncovering a useful match that the reader is not already aware of.
