There is no longer unlimited messages for subscribers. It has since sparked an outrage among the community with many ending their subscriptions and moving away from Poe.

32,039119Released 2y agoFree + from $8.25/moitโs a cool tool if you wanna chat with made up characters or build your own. works fine and feels fun. the ui could def be better organized. alsooo letting people upload any pic for their characters makes things kinda messy, some look ๐ฅ, some are like 144p pics. would be sick if they added a 'generate image' button that uses your character's description or lets you write one for it.

I used to ask it to explain math problems to me, and any other questions. It gave detailed and comprehensive explanations. It used to be free, but now it is premium so I can't use it anymore. Overall, it's really great.

Thatโs more generous than many competitors. But the cracks show quickly. Thereโs no calling function, and the subscription model $9.99 per month for unlimited messagesโfeels too barebones for the price. The platform also lacks proper tagging for models, making discovery awkward, and the limited male variety makes it feel unbalanced for users seeking more options. To improve, DreamTavern should expand its male character selection, refine its model tagging, and add immersive features like calling. Compared with Character AI, which offers depth, diversity, and memory, DreamTavern still feels half-baked.
