Soulkyn has been the best AI service I've used. I've been a premium user for a year now and the dev team (of 1 person!) and CEO have continued to improve the site and remain active in the community and discord. They continually update the chat model for improved user experience, and despite the occasional set back and need to roll back to an earlier model, the chat quality continues to improve. I personally appreciate that they want the user experience to improve. There are no copyrighted characters allowed, so the site only has original characters instead of a flood of the same anime girl. I'll continue supporting Soulkyn as it's only improved since I've started using it. -

Dittin AI leaves a lot to be desired. From the start, youโre forced to log in, only to find that the free plan isnโt clearly explained, and other plan prices arenโt even listed. That lack of transparency already sets the wrong tone. Once in, the shortcomings stack up quickly. Thereโs no proper memory in chat, no calling function, and not even a voice reading option to bring conversations to life. The credit-based system caps you at just 20 messages instead of offering unlimited use, which feels restrictive. Even basic features are missing โ no dark mode, no spelling correction, and no clear way to separate actions from dialogue in chat. The result is a clunky, shallow experience. Against Character AI, Dittin doesnโt stand a chance. Where Character AI delivers immersion, clarity, and flexibility, Dittin struggles with the basics. To move forward, it needs stronger memory, proper feature development, and a more transparent pricing model. Right now, itโs not ready to compete.

Fantasy AI gets a small nod for its concept, themed characters with fantasy-inspired personalities have real potential if executed well. Unfortunately, that potential is quickly wasted. The 240-character text limit makes real conversation impossible, thereโs no calling function, and users canโt adjust or input memories for continuity. The male and female character selection is painfully limited, and all characters are straight; something users should know before jumping in. After a handful of messages, youโre forced to upgrade and pay, which kills the experience before it even starts. If Fantasy AI wants to be taken seriously in the companionship AI space, it needs to extend message length, introduce inclusive character options, add memory input, and unlock a calling feature. Right now, it doesnโt come close to what Character AI delivers in realism, diversity, or depth.

Google AI Studio is fully censored. Even the most basic NSFW query returns: "Content blocked" message. I found SmutGPT to be perfect because all the content is unrestricted there, no guardrails. On top of it, the generation quality of SmutGPT is like miles better than the free Google models

The responses are not bad. However, most of the characters are anime and so it doesn't interest me.

The pictures are on the level of something you'd see 3 years ago. The girls there are named after weird categories like Social Justice Lawyer and Wine Master as opposed to just having real names. Wanting to give it a fair shake, I did strike up a conversation, and was met by stilted dialog on the level of GPT 3. Don't bother with this lazy attempt. Also, there's no option to delete your account.
