Working great as of 30/11/2024. Let me tell you why I'm so happy about this, because I was desperate: - Firecrawl.dev? Inconsistent API documentation. Apify scrapers? Couldn't work on my target URL. - I spent $150 over 4-5 OTHER tools before finding this one, which is free to use locally right now. Wow. Thanks for your great feedback Gregory. A feature in Macky that is designed for more specific industry-specific information is the "Ask Macky" one. In this feature you can use your own promopting to get outputs that are specific to the business question being asked. Also, at the end of each output you have an opportunity to ask any detailed question you want about the output to get more specific responses. You can drill down several times to get further insights using this feature. Hope this helps!

This is honestly exactly what I needed. The core transcription works great, and I really love that it gives you proper local Whisper models so you can use it completely offline without any internet. Super useful. I mostly use the custom prompts for emails, like turning my rambling voice notes into clean, pro sounding messages, and it saves me so much time. Pretty much everyone doing this kind of thing probably uses it the same way lol. Only downside is I really hope they bring it to macOS one day. My main desktop is Windows and it runs perfectly there, but my laptop is a Mac and it would be awesome to have the same workflow when Iโm working on that machine. Apart from that, Iโm loving it.
