This is the first slide creator I found that actually creates an outline, and nice looking slides with images. The one negative/con is it takes yoursubject and title and generates an outline, but it doesn't allow you to put in your own outline

Transcribe audio and video in 100+ languages effortlesslyOpenFast - probably the fastest tool I've tried for transcribing from an uploaded MP3. Accuracy was good. My samples was a ~30 min university lecture recorded alone (recorded with a mic and laptop, not in a lecture hall). Only complaint is that the logical sectioning or paragraphing isn't great. (It's hard to do with these stream-of-consciousness type lectures, but some tools do a great job.) If I didn't need the logical breaks, I'd likely come back to this tool solely for the speed and accuracy. Great job! -
Thanks for noticing this Tyler, we really liked the idea of getting back to lifetime one-time purchases. Alice is a desktop app and it doesnโt use our cloud resources much, so this should be also feasible for the long run. Please, give Alice a try, you wonโt regret it!

I really enjoy Article Reader AI, it's a no-frills article/pdf converter to narrated audio. The voices are excellent and there are no crazy expensive yearly commitment to use it. Perfect for multitasking and staying productive during my busy days!

This is an amazing free app that uses community created characters. All AI processing is done on your local computer and doesnโt get loaded to some cloud database. Also, there is a paid cloud service thatโs $15 a month but thatโs not the focus of what they provide.

Really simple approach - you select the part of the page you want the summary to be inserted, add a question to the article or it just sticks to the prompt you defined (even the standard prompt is a fun inspiration - never thought about letting the AI read an article from the angle of my professional background or let it build fun analogies for even the darkest articles). I use it to send articles from website directly to my Kindle - so you can basically read AI summarized articles on Kindle. Of course it could be extended but with the basic features it does the job.

Really solid on Windows. Iโve tried several similar transcription tools before, but this one feels much better integrated into the system. The customizable global shortcuts are a game changer, you can either just do plain transcription or trigger your own custom prompts/actions with Adifferent hotkeys. A lot of competitors do Aroughly the same thing, but EchoWrite stands out because the basic transcription is essentially free (you just need your own OpenAI API key, which costs next to nothing). If you want the custom prompts and translations, itโs a one-time payment instead of yet another subscription. In 2026 thatโs actually pretty fair compared to everything else out there. Big thumbs up. -
