Hey this is Tan, I'm the creator of NotesBot. I created this tool because I needed it for my own meetings. After using myself and getting great summarization reviews from my peers, I decided to release it to the public. After release, we realized people were also using it for Dungeons and Dragons, I then added a DnD mode. This tool is non-invasive, very easy to set up, and perfect for meetings. A couple things that would make it even better are: - the ability to rename the files and organize them through folders. - the ability to download a copy of the other features as well as the transcript. Copying and pasting it works, but doesn't keep the format. -

Accuracy was good. My samples was a ~30 min university lecture recorded alone (recorded with a mic and laptop, not in a lecture hall). Only complaint is that the logical sectioning or paragraphing isn't great. (It's hard to do with these stream-of-consciousness type lectures, but some tools do a great job.) If I didn't need the logical breaks, I'd likely come back to this tool solely for the speed and accuracy. Great job! -

For example, if your teacher gave you an assignment in a PDF file, you wouldn't be able to use it. Until it enables that feature, it's not very useful for students. However, it is useful if you're incorporating audio.
