This started from a small frustration that wouldn't go away: I'd open 12 tabs for "research," skim none of them properly, and close my laptop feeling more behind than when I started. The web rewards reading speed, not reading depth — and I wanted a tool that flipped that. So I built GetTheGists: a Chrome extension that gives you the gist of any page in 3 seconds, then lets you ask follow-up questions like you would a smart friend who already read it. A few things we went out of our way to get right: - Cognitive hierarchy, not walls of text. Every summary is structured as Gist → Why It Matters → Key Takeaways → Implications. Compression before precision. - Ask, don't just read. Hit the page with follow-ups, get answers grounded in the content. - 20 languages, full dark mode, and a resizable side panel that actually respects your screen. What surprised me building this: the hardest part wasn't the AI — it was deciding what not to show. Every iteration was about removing a section, not adding one. B12 exceeded my expectations especially after I tried a few similar tools. Signing up took under a minute and because I offer a very specific set of services as a consultant, I didn't expect the AI to be able to capture my work, but it did a great job with creating content for me. I only had to make a few edits, add my bio, and was able to publish that same day. Now I get lots of compliments on my site and I've even tried their other tools like email marketing, which is great because the emails match my site's appearance. Overall I would recommend B12 as an effective, affordable, and easy to use website solution.

You have the option to waitlist or you can login with your email/pass or google account. I chose google. Once inside you have a suite of tools but im sure when you go to publish you have to sign up for a paid plan. So if your looking for a free option it will be branded. Use at your own risk. Thanks

I do recommend this platform for layout and basic designing. It can help for you to show a first draft to your client. It's easy to use and precise. I think it's good for building "one page" or landing pages. I am showing my finished web page to a programmer so he can have a guide line and build a more personalized web page outside this unicorn platform.

Honestly, this took waaaay too long to generate. I didn’t really have the patience for it. However, I did appreciate the little group chat animation during the wait, definitely more fun than just staring at a boring loading bar. But still, I couldn't wait until the website was done

Really simple approach - you select the part of the page you want the summary to be inserted, add a question to the article or it just sticks to the prompt you defined (even the standard prompt is a fun inspiration - never thought about letting the AI read an article from the angle of my professional background or let it build fun analogies for even the darkest articles). I use it to send articles from website directly to my Kindle - so you can basically read AI summarized articles on Kindle. Of course it could be extended but with the basic features it does the job.

Tried it out today. The speed is definitely the standout part. Pasting a Google Maps link and getting a usable website so quickly is impressive, especially for businesses that have no site at all. That said, it is more of a strong starting point than a finished website. The generated result looked clean, but I’d still want more control over layout, branding, sections, and finer edits before publishing. For some users that may be enough, but others will want deeper customization. Overall though, the idea solves a real problem: many small businesses delay getting online because websites feel expensive or complicated. If Wowable keeps improving the editing side while keeping the setup this simple, it has real potential.

Amazing AI to create a WordPress website with all the basics in less than a minute. If you feed it with enough details in your prompt, it will really create nice text for your website. It can also create subpages like About Us, Contact Us, blog, etc. The standard ones. Everything looks great, apart from the fact that the UI of the created website for you is limited to less than 10 variations. I'm pretty sure they will add more layouts or unlimited layouts, but at the moment isn't yet there. Once it can create tens of different and custom theme layouts for the outcome, then it will win the hearts of all who want to build with WP.
