I believe it is the best tool the world could receive. There is mo barrier on books .books in China, will be heard in Africa, in African languages will be heard in ither continents. Audio learners will pass, bored people will be engaged etc, parents will study with children by button. Etc But I failed to see yiur upload button and audio icon.

Fair question, and I appreciate the push! A few reasons we exist alongside the free options: Voice quality — AuthorVoices runs on ElevenLabs, which is what most professional audiobook producers benchmark against right now. Google AI Studio's voices are great for prototyping and short clips, but for hours of continuous narration the difference in prosody, breath, and emotional range is pretty stark once you sit and listen to a full chapter back-to-back. Audiobook listeners are picky — they'll bail in the first 90 seconds if it sounds robotic. Voice library — Hundreds of professional voices curated for long-form fiction and non-fiction, with the right accents, age ranges, and genres. Google gives you a handful of generic ones. Voice cloning — You can clone your own voice (or a narrator you've licensed) and have the whole book read in it. That's a huge deal for authors who want their personal brand on the audiobook but don't have 30 hours of studio time. Google AI Studio doesn't do this. It's a workflow, not a playground — Manuscript upload, automatic chapter splitting, per-paragraph re-records when you don't like a line, pronunciation overrides for character names, ACX-compliant mastered output ready for Audible/Apple/Google Play. AI Studio is a developer sandbox — you'd be stitching WAV files together by hand and praying the loudness levels match. Built-in QC — We run every generated chapter through Whisper transcription and diff it against your source manuscript, then Haiku triages the discrepancies. Catches dropped words, mispronunciations, and skipped lines before you ever notice. That alone has saved authors from re-uploading twice. Commercial licensing — ElevenLabs voices on our paid plans are cleared for commercial audiobook distribution. AI Studio's free tier has terms you really want to read carefully before you put the output for distribution. And on the "monthly payments" point — totally hear you. That's why our Studio plan covers QC for free and the per-credit pricing means a single-book author can run it once and stop (no subscription needed). We're not trying to sell every author a forever-subscription. 🙂 THX for the great question!

SO there's meant to be one free credit given to a new user, so I created an account and guess what, no free credits at all. Furthering to this, i've already written a book that I wanted narration on, that's no possible with this tool. Garbage!
