I really love this platform but I have to deduct 1 star because the amount of credits used per prompt has gone up unreasonably. Most of my needed prompts now take 25-30 credits per prompt. Before, they were 5-7 credits per which was much more reasonable/useful.

This is the best tool for analysing multiple documents at a go. It is efficient, easy to use and as a student who needs to review a lot of documents in a short time, I strongly recommend.

Without a doubt Petal is the most comprehensively helpful ai for analysing, comparing and paraphrasing multiple papers or websites etc. it’s table feature totally rocks for gathering citations and will answer you]r questions in a table containing your choice of docs - it then mines each uploaded doc for answers to your questions. The multi-doc lit review writer it’s very cool once you get the hang of it’s. Honestly, there are so many things to love in this ai - I’m truly surprised it’s isn’t more widely used … it mines your documents thoroughly and finds all kinds of helpful insights. I use it by preference.

Its a great program! The only reason for 4 star is because how picky the software is. If there is one empty cell, it confuses the whole system.

I found it a bit slow, but it accepted my pdf document (which other services had rejected as being too long) and was quite helpful. For free. There is a paid version at, I believe $15.00/mo, but as a teacher, that's too rich for my blood. :/

The maximum number of pdf pages for the free tier is 10, which is a bit small. Generally, I think people need this service for pdf documents over 50 pages or so.

What I appreciate most about this tool is its workflow automation feature. In the past, submitting large PDF files to services like Claude or ChatPDF for summaries often led to inaccurate results. It is able to generate brief contents of books and documents. With it, I will be able to create my own knowledge base in various areas, which will be built only on the data I uploaded, which I am sure of. Overall, the app is great, and I can safely recommend it. How do I personally use this product: For example, to summarize medical research and books. I intend to use it for academic research to save time searching for answers to specific questions and searching for links (documents, pages, comments), and I have to say that I am impressed. I upload not only PDF documents, but also transcribe videos of specialists in the right subject and upload them together to the service. Thus, I make my personal library, knowledge base and the quality of knowledge deeper. barely even did what i told it to, the tasks I told it to do were simple give me a detailed summary of a specific chapter and nothing, basically told me to do it myself.

The features of this app would've been amazing. If it worked.. I tried out the free version which worked great. The paid version, with scanning multiple documents and a tag doesn't work at all. All the time it says that it couldn't find the information I asked for, even though it's in the documents.

Looks like a GPT wrapper product. Hoping its actually purpose-specific, as ChatGPT does the same. Multimodal and agentic features would be great to have.

Way better than most Chat with PDF tools I tried

I recently tried this PDF chat application, which was very user-friendly. The provided answers were very accurate and focused on the source document only. I am also exploring PDF conversion, and so far, it seems like a convenient tool for communication and document conversion.

I like it. It answers simple questions accurately and by the book. The Ref (reference) page is not usually accurate though. I'll keep you updated on how it responds to complex questions.

AnythingLLM is easy to use, and allows us to build private databases using several (any) kinds of media (text, pdf, audio, etc) and use it as a source of knowledge for any LLM you might wonder to experiment!

Sharly AI is a total lifesaver at work! When I'm dealing with those super-long documents or reports, Sharly steps up and makes things way more manageable. It's also a big help for my studies, it kicks in to make studying way easier.

I've used multiple document analysis, text extraction tools. But, this one is quite cool. The custom prompt, intent are a great add-on! Free version is cool, but, the limit will catch up to you. Yes, pro (extend as they like to it) is a bit on the expensive side, but worth it!

It is a great tool to chat with plenty of documents, including scientific ones. The answers are very accurate.

I usually don't praise, even when I like something, but it's just incredibly cool done. A chat that can have a conversation with a user and answer questions based on uploaded documents is no longer something surprising. However, there are many interesting features here that I've been wanting to see for a long time. For example, the ability to select one word from the entire context of the document and view the data associated with it. I especially liked the "inspect" system, which shows related topics in the form of nodes. By clicking on the node, you can see all the topics related to this word in the document. I'm not sure if this is true or not, but it seems that there are no restrictions on the number of questions to the chat on the free tariff.

Skims (at best) the first 50 or so pages (at most). Absolutely nothing here you can't get from a free plugin to ChatGPT or as standard on Claude.

Having tried multiple AI document tools this year, nothing comes close to docAnalyzer. It's a game-changer. Not only does it dig deeper into the content, but its approach makes understanding many complex PDFs a breeze. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm genuinely excited about AI document analysis now!

It makes me skeptical once the main login page has a typo in "sumbit", instead of "submit". The devil is in the details.

I agree, with the below comment about the relevance of the answers. I found that the AI made assumptions that weren't always valid.

Tested several tools like this. This one produced the most coherent result from a medium quality PDF scan. The only downside is that the document analysis seems to take very long. I had to pick it up the next day. But so far Ayfie is my preferred tool for scanned document analysis.
