About

Vega U is a flexible dual-arm manipulation platform featuring the same upper-body kinematics as the Vega robot. Designed for tabletop deployment, data collection, and integration with mobile or custom bases, it provides high-payload dexterous manipulation with built-in vision and AI-ready architecture.

Specs

Vega U features 7 DoFs per arm (dual-arm configuration), a 3-DoF flexible head, and dexterous arm morphology shared with the Vega robot. It supports 10+ lbs payload per arm at any pose. The platform includes stereo RGB and depth imaging with point cloud generation, IMU, and force/torque sensing. It runs on Nvidia AGX Nano (with AGX Orin/Thor upgrade options), supports Python API, VR/exoskeleton teleoperation, compliance control, fleet scalability, and simulator-ready URDF/USD files.
